I'm planning on having a 3 ring external fixator put in my right arm due to erbs palsy from birth..I am a single mom of 3, my youngest is 15 months. I have been putting off having this surgery done for awhile, the thing is I am scared out of my mind. Almost everyone here has had it in there lower extremeties. Has anyone had it in there upper extremities? I dont know what to expect. My Dr said I wont be in much pain but I will be in Hosp for a week. I'll be wearing it for about 8 months..can someone please help me? 860
