Hi there, I am from New Zealand, I am a mother of two pre schoolers, I am due to get the frame on in 3 weeks. I would love to hear from any one in new zealand who is having or had the frame on.
I would like to hear also form any one else who can give me any tips.
I also wondering about the after parts of it. Like do you need a cast on or moon boot on after?
Sorry if I sound anxious, But I am!!! :) lol
All the best for all you that are having this or had it done or about too;)

probably depends on more data than you're giving us. If lower leg, my understanding is most/all of us wear a strapped boot for a couple of months (in my case 3) after surgery to keep the foot from reacting and straitening (ala ballerina). Then you move to shoes and then they start taking off the frame piece by piece :)

Thanks Ron, I must sound bonkers:)
The frame will be fitted onto my R lower leg, my leg will be broken in two places as my ankle needs to be angled as it is not straight. Then my Tib and Fib both broken to lengthen and correct deformity (bowing of leg).
Any info about any part of the op will be greatfully acceptd.
Thank you

my email is ronlpeck@gmail.com. Send me an email and I'll send you the doc I use to keep track of my experience. But I hope you know in advance that everyone probably reacts a little differently to the experience.

I'm a Mum but my youngest child is already at secondary school. The frame won't be you're biggest problem.. It'll be the kiddies! Never refuse an offer of help.
